Thanks to all our DoneDealers for all the ads you placed during November. We gave 10% from each paid ad placed to the charity pot which came to €29,522 to be shared equally between these 3 charities: Novas Initiatives William Winder Rainbow Foundation Children in Hospital Ireland All 3 charities came to visit the DoneDeal offices and receive their cheque and while they were here they shared with us how much this donation from DoneDealers will help. Speaking at the presentation: Una Burns, Communications and Development Co-ordinator at Novas Initiatives told us: “The donation will be used for our frontline Limerick services. We have seven services in the city that support marginalised families and individuals. This donation will be particularly helpful in supporting our street outreach service, which is entirely unfunded and relies on volunteers and donations such as this.
Novas would like to extend a huge thank you to Done Deal for selecting us as one of their charities for the month of November, and for the incredibly generous donation. All the money raised will go directly to supporting our frontline services and will enable us to support more marginalised people this Christmas.” Caroline Winder, Founder of William Winder Rainbow Foundation said: “This amazing donation from Donedeal will go to the counselling costs of 2016. This will give us a big financial boost to help carry on the work that we do.We are very grateful to Donedeal who give back in such a worthwhile and generous way.” Orlaith Kennedy, CEO of Children in Hospital Ireland told us: “Children in Hospital Ireland graciously accept this donation from Donedeal. A donation of this size allows our organisation to grow and prosper thus bringing more smiles to more faces of children in hospital. It is a truly wonderful gift that will enable a deeper engagement with children in hospital proving not only play but advocacy and support to parents of sick children.” #Charity #LatestCharityMonths
