Thanks to Paula Malone Carty Photography for the photos: www.paulamalonecarty.com Our DoneDeal Charity Month for May was another fantastic success.  The 10% from all the ads placed by you DoneDealers in May raised a whopping €37,515 for these 3 deserving charities: Capuchin Day Centre Waterford Marine Search and Rescue Golden Eagle Trust We invited all 3 charities to visit the DoneDeal offices and they shared with us how much this donation from DoneDealers will help: Brother Kevin Crawley, of the Capuchin Day Centre said: “We would like to extend our gratitude for the generous donation received today. Without the help and support of companies like DoneDeal it would be impossible for us to continue to provide the same level of assistance to those in need. DoneDeal’s donation will go toward the supplying of food, by way of hot meals and food parcels, to the homeless and marginalised in Irish society.”
Ger Condon & Eamonn Russell, (Committee Members), Waterford Marine Search and Rescue: “Waterford Marine Search and Rescue would like to extend our utmost gratitude and thanks to the DoneDeal team for this amazing contribution to our organisation. With this donation we can provide our members with new lifejackets and Fladden suits so they can carry out their Suicide Prevention Patrols in a safe manner.

This will also be a massive injection in our quest to establish a 24/7 base which will give family and friends somewhere to rest, so they can be updated with events as they unfold during any search. It is through the generosity shown by DoneDeal and their donation that we see just how vitally important the service is to the community.”
Dr. Allan Mee, (Project Manager, Irish White-tailed Eagle Reintroduction Programme) speaking on behalf of the Golden Eagle Trust, said: “The Golden Eagle Trust is delighted to receive this much needed donation from DoneDeal for our important conservation work in restoring populations of White-tailed and Golden Eagles as well as Red Kites to Ireland. Such funding will allow us to closely track the movements of the first Irish-bred White-tailed Eagles as they explore Ireland. This will be critical in helping us re-establish this iconic eagle species in Ireland.” #Charity
