Thanks to all the ads place by you during the month of March, DoneDeal has been able to give a massive €37,287 to the charity pot shared equally between: South Tipperary Hospice Movement Marie Keating Foundation South East Solas Centre We invited all 3 charities to visit the DoneDeal offices and they shared with us how much this donation from DoneDealers will help: Anne Grace from the Nursing Team of South Tipperary Hospice Movement said: “Many thanks to DoneDeal staff and management for supporting the South Tipperary Hospice Movement. We are very grateful to them and to all the DoneDealers. This generous donation helps us to deliver our highest level of professional care, with compassion and dignity to each and every person in our care. Rest assured the money goes towards helping people in a time when they need it the most.” Liz Yeates, CEO of the Marie Keating Foundation, said of the donation: “We would like to extend a big thank you to all the team at DoneDeal and particularly to Maeve Carey for nominating us. The foundation does not receive government funding and so we are entirely reliant on donations like this to support our work. This generous donation from DoneDealers will be designated towards our “Schools Cancer Awareness Programme” raising awareness about the common cancers amongst 4th, 5th and 6th years. The Marie Keating Foundation nurses deliver the programme in 120 secondary schools around Ireland each year, and can continue to do so with the help of donations like this.” Mr Brendan Mayer, manager of the Solas Centre said: “The Solas Centre is sincerely grateful to have the support of DoneDeal. In addition to this very generous donation which enables us to provide and grow our important services, DoneDeal is playing a very significant role in helping us to raise awareness of our services to its staff and customers. It is greatly appreciated by all of us at the Solas Centre. We would like to wish DoneDeal continued success in the future.” #Charity
