DoneDealers love German Cars it seems!

We recently ran a survey to find out a bit more about people in Ireland’s thoughts on Motoring. It turns out that almost 6 in 10 Irish consumers (57%) have said that if they had to drive one car for the rest of their lives it would be one produced in Germany. The preference is backed up with four of the top five favourite car brands of those surveyed being German. Our research questioned people in Ireland’s relationships with their motors and there were some interesting findings: Germany is by far the most trusted and respected country when it comes to motoring. This is backed up by the popularity of German cars on DoneDeal.ie, Ireland’s most visited website for buying and selling cars. Ireland’s favourite famous car is the indestructible Toyota Hilux from Top Gear, followed by Mr Bean’s Mini and Del Boy Trotter’s Reliant Regal. More than 70% of those surveyed have spotted motorists picking their nose, fixing hair and make-up and singing in their cars. The most searched for car brand in September was BMW and Volkswagen Golfs were the type of car that sold the most. The survey also revealed some interesting observations made about what people get up to in their cars. More than seven in 10 (71%) have spotted motorists picking their nose in their cars. An even higher number (76%) have spotted motorists fixing their hair and make-up in their vehicles and being vain by checking themselves out in the mirror (75%).
