Thanks to all your ads placed during our most recent charity month, we’ve been able to donate the grand total of €38,271.30 to the October charity pot to be shared equally between the 3 selected charities. That’s a whopping €12,757.10 EACH to go towards the phenomenal work these charities do: Epilepsy Ireland  will use the donation to develop and deliver a new self-management programme for people with epilepsy. Pomegranate will be able to allow three couples go ahead with IVF to pursue their dreams of becoming parents. Neuroblastoma Research The Bracken Lab at TCD will work with Crumlin Children’s Hospital to understand the nature of the most severe form of Neuroblastoma. For the charity photo, we got to meet representatives from each charity:
Eric Conway from Childhood Cancer Research Trinity College Dublin.
Ashley Burke and Peter Murphy from Epilepsy Ireland with 2fm DJ, Epilepsy Ireland patron and all round sound chap Rick O’Shea.
Fiona McPhillips and Joanna Donnelly, founders of Pomegranate. #DoneDealCharityMonth donations have now reached over half a million euro! Peter & Ashley from Epilepsy Ireland, Eric from Childhood Cancer Research and Fiona & Joanna from Pomegranate. This charity donation was made extra special as since the launch of #DoneDealCharityMonth in February 2010, with the help of all your ads, we’ve given over €500,000 to Irish charities. This month’s donation actually brings us to over €625,000! As our Fred says himself: “When we started this we never could have envisaged that we would have donated more than half a million to these charities. Thanks to all the DoneDealers, without them this would not have been possible!” You can see all the charities that have benefitted so far here.
